B. Cultivate Multidisciplinary Competence

Equip students with a broad foundation across diverse fields, integrating interdisciplinary resources to enhance innovation, adaptability, and employability in an ever-evolving job market.

C. Expand Global Perspectives

Broaden students’ international outlook by nurturing globally competent scientists and engineers through international training, research opportunities, and cross-cultural engagement.

Our Core Competence

I. Independent Research Competence

Emphasis is placed on equipping students with the competence to conduct independent research, fostering intellectual curiosity and a spirit of inquiry. This competence prepares graduates to contribute original insights, advance knowledge in their disciplines, and pursue graduate studies or research-oriented careers with confidence and self-direction.

II. Logical Thinking Competence

The College of Science and Engineering is committed to cultivating students' logical thinking competence as a core educational goal. Through rigorous training in mathematics, programming, problem-solving, and scientific methods, students develop the ability to think critically, analyze complex systems, and construct sound arguments based on evidence and logic. This competence empowers graduates to approach technical challenges methodically, make data-driven decisions, and innovate within their fields. By fostering logical reasoning across disciplines, the college prepares students to lead in research, industry, and technology development with clarity, precision, and intellectual integrity.

III. Competence of Communication in Foreign Languages

We emphasize cultivating students’ international perspectives by encouraging students to attend international conferences abroad and present their research papers. Students are also encouraged to participate in foreign exchange programs and gain some international experience. Scholars are also invited to give talks on various topics. These approaches enhance students' ability to communicate in English and other foreign languages
